Fire Risk Assessment Process
To comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

To comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, a fire risk assessment must be carried out and must be up to date.

  • FRMS will, at your convenience visit and survey your premises and provide you with a written no obligation quotation for the inspection and production of your bespoke fire risk assessment.
  • FRMS will then visit your premises and carry out a detailed inspection. The final fire risk assessment report will include photographs to not only identify problem areas, but also to highlight and emphasise areas of good practice.
  • The report will identify any deficiencies found, with requirements or recommendations to remove or reduce the fire risk.

Remember: any change in circumstance - organisation, staff, business processes and workplace environment must trigger a review of your fire risk assessment. FRMS will handle this for you as part of our service agreement as a regular audit.

A fire risk assessment applies to all business types, it is not just for the high profile businesses that regularly get adverse publicity for breaking the rules such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, holiday cottages, residential and nursing homes.
